Amber is originally from Iowa but has lived in Minneapolis, Boston, Las Vegas, San Diego, and now Nashville for the last year and a half. She was a competitive dancer for 12 years and has always had a passion for health and wellness. Amber taught cycling classes for 3 years in San Diego at a gym on the beach and fell in love with inspiring others to be the best they can be and to help them achieve their goals. Amber received her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently getting her "Certified Golf Specialist Certification.” Outside of OTF Amber enjoys running, yoga, golfing, hiking and researching just about anything to do with health and fitness. She loves to travel, meet new people and experience new adventures. She and her husband have recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Preston. Amber loves the sense of community that she feels with Orangetheory and can't wait to work toward her goals along side the best in Nashville, while hopefully inspiring others along the way!
Bird is from a town called “Tha Thrill” (Rock Hill, SC), just outside of Charlotte, NC. He attended Clemson University where he played for the Clemson Rugby Squad. After graduation, he directed Camp Cherokee (a YMCA summer resident camp) for 8 years before pursuing a profession in fitness. Certified by ACE (American Council on Exercise) in 2006, he has ten years experience of training individuals, small groups, large bootcamps and professional athletes. Bird is further educated via his world adventures throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean. Along with traveling, his main hobbies include everything outdoors, people watching and food. He and his wife Beth just moved to Nashville last year and love it so far! Other endeavors that Bird has Co-Founded and still is involved with include: Camp LUCK, Inc. (Support organization for families that provides a resident camp and other services for kids with heart defects), SMOOTHISFAST (Apparel that benefits warriors battling cancer), and Baxter’s Bunch (Children’s book series and TV Pilot show that teaches good values through sports).
Bird’s Fitness Philosophy is “You only have one body and one mind… so why not take care of
them!” Training is not just about the physical improvements. I enjoy challenging the mental aspect of an exercise program that coincides with the most important trait - your Attitude! I am excited to be a part of the Orangetheory Fitness team as it is science based, full of good peeps and is fun/engaging!
Fury describes herself as an Air Force brat, but claims Atlanta, GA as her home town. After attending Trevecca Nazarene University and receiving her degree in Interpersonal Communication and Theatre, Fury decided to stick around Nashville. This is when she discovered her true passion, Roller Derby. Lady Fury has been skating with the Nashville Rollergirls for 10 years, which ultimately led to her love for fitness. After realizing how much better she got at her sport the healthier she got, she became NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified. Fury loves being a part of OTF because anyone, any body, and walk of life can do this workout, and it’s the best one hour workout ever! It’s the perfect balance of Endurance, Strength, and Power in every workout. Apart from the workout, Fury also enjoys the “Orange Family” feel of OTF and how everyone cares about each other. Fury’s fitness motto is “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you. There are no limits, only plateaus!”
Morgan is originally from Mississippi and moved to Nashville from Georgia. He is a former gymnastics coach and is AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified. Morgan has displayed an extreme array of knowledge and experience in all that he does, making sure that all of our members have proper form and technique to stay safe and get the most benefit out of their workout. Outside of OTF, he enjoys weight-lifting and going to the park to play pick-up games of ultimate frisbee or flag football to stay active and fit! Morgan's favorite aspect of an OTF workout is the rowing. His future goals as an OTF coach is to get better at what he does, as there's always room to grow! His advice to all of our members, "Wanting is only half the equation. You have to GET IT!”
Tori George is an ACSM certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. She recently received her Masters in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Tori has been working in the fitness industry for the past 8 years and has experience teaching a variety of different classes such as Spinning, Bootcamp, TRX, and interval training. She loves working will all age groups and is committed to helping people reach their goals whether it be improving energy levels, increasing strength, balance, or weight loss. Tori is excited to be a part of OTF family!
